Can You imagine what happens when friends of Protestant Theological Faculty of Charles University, theologian and actor Gordon Truefitt and biblical text meet all together in Cerna street 9 in Prague? The result is an amazing and lively interpretation. Gordon, for some known as “the Australian ambassador”, managed to encourage and inspire all the others.
The inspiration could be seen even during the conference of members of Spolek – the new board of Spolek was successfully elected. Instead of Daniel Neval, the previous chairman of the board, who died in June last year and whose work in the Spolek and the Faculy was once again apprised, was elected Jan Satke. As vice-president was elected Michael Hoffmann.
The program of Saturday afternoon could be described as “Prague”. In the evening we had a dinner with excellent Czech beer and pleasant English entertainment in one Czech restaurant. Before the first people went home on Sunday morning we had a bilingual ecumenical service according to English version of Norwegian liturgy adapted to the Czech tradition.
