Third meeting in line of the Association of the Friends of the Protestant Theological Faculty took successfully place during the days from 9th to 11th November 2001.
The theme of this years´s meeting was "A religion without a confession?" The meaning of different confessions for the Church and society. According to this topic it was an expert discussion between Dr.Heinz Rüegger and two teachers of the Protestant Theological Faculty in Prague, Prof. David Holeton and Dr. Ladislav Beneš.

The conference’s roughly 50 participants, among which were about 30 foreign guests from Switzerland, Germany, Slovakia, Great Britain, Norway and USA, thought about the topic and discussed not only the importance of ecumenical relations for Christian identity, but also the individual confessions’ differences.
The Association’s next meeting is taking place as usually by the end of the second week in November next year (8th-10th November ’02). This time we decided the theme will deal with theology in the context of Czech history. The preliminary topic is “Darkness? or the Culture and the Religion in Baroque Prague”.
